Cross Stitching Poems

From time to time I cross stitch. I love to see my work hanging from the wall but I definitely struggle with being patient enough to finish this type of work. It always makes my eyes hurt. I usually pick funny phrases, reminders, Mexican sayings or excerpts from my own poetry. This is an example of the last one. I have a platonic romance with the Republic of Chile, so I have written poems about it. I can't really explain this love since I was born Mexican, my mom is 3rd generation Spaniard and my dad is 3rd generation Mayan. I suppose I am just terrestrial, even though I hate to admit it.
